Kyle is 31 months old now and he has so much personality. I have a baby book but it seems so much easier to keep track of him online them on a boring piece of paper don't you think ;)
So he's at the stage where he stopped calling Dom "Papa" and now has decided to call him "Dom" which Dom of course loves and thinks is the funniest thing in the world! If he wants someone to follow him or play or help him he says "me!" That sure grabs our attention. He still loves to dance but we are not allowed to dance with him or even look at him, he tells us to leave the room. "go, goooo!" Instead of saying "no" everything is "no Mama!" or "no Ba!" He is still obsessed with his trains, but would rather watch Caillou (which he calls "Goby) then anything else. He likes Dora and says it sooo cute. He has figured out how to climb out of his crib, and when he does he is so proud and walks right out of his room saying "hi" to everyone and everything he sees. I am thinking of signing him up for dance class rather then gymnastics because he doesn't "laugh" in gym like he does when he dances, and thats the best thing in the world!

Early XMAS

So yes I have a hard time keeping things as surprises, which is why I do not Christmas shop early, hence the train table you see in this pic ;) Kyle got croup, and just wasn't himself. After researching tons of tables, I happened to find this one on sale and let me tell you its the best toy we've purchased ever! After days of Kyle moping around the house coughing every other minute.....I heard this excited "CHOO-CHOOOOOO!!!!!" all the way from across the street as we were bringing in the box. I now have my happy Train conductor Kyle back. Thanks Grandma Celo!

I love that my son says:

"Butt" for Bus

"Odey" for Oranges

"Yicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" for Jessica

"Guck" for Truck

"Manda" for Amanda

"Loli" for Lili

"Mahgie" for Margie

"Go-go" for trains

I love that he calls his father "Papa" and "Dom"

I love that he can say Amanda & Margie, but refuses to call my mom Grandma and instead calls her "Ba"

I love that he can name all the trains from Thomas the Tank Engine..."Emily", "Percy", "Henry" but when you ask him to say Thomas he says "choo-chooooo"

I love that when he puts a cup of dog food in Rosies bowl he yells "Ro-Ro" while he claps his hands for her to come

I love that his first sentence was "Margie, see, a truck"...."Mahgie, see, a guck!"

I love that when I call him he says "huh?"
I love that when I say "hi Kyle" he says "hi honey"
I love the way he says "bird" and "circle"
I love that when he sings his "ABCs" he throws in a couple of "me's" and even the word "milk"
I love that he puts in a couple of "la's" before his words "la ball", "la milk"
I can go on and on, and I know it won't be like this for much longer, but I will enjoy every minute of it while it lasts!

My Favorite Song to Sing with Kyle

To Move, or Not to Move...that, is the question...

that is really getting on my nerves, UGHHHHHHH!

Have you seen the rents in San Mateo? If we want to live in a dump we can easily afford $1500/month. If we want to live in the ghetto, we can most likely get away with $1400/month. In order to get a house, because Dom insists on having a garage, we cannot get away with rent below $2000/month. Ahh the joys of the bay area.
An alternative to the problemo...add on to my mothers house, meaning stay in a great neighborhood to raise children, and not have to work full time so that I can stay home with the kids. But there goes her as well as our privacy.
I can't help but check craigslist daily in hopes that the one gem of a house will appear for $1800 or less in a good neighborhood, have granite countertops, hardwood floors, a huge backyard, and a 2 door garage. It would read "$1800-3 bedroom, clean, safe neighborhood, huge garage and backyard, looking for a family of 3 to rent to own". What? I can dream can't I?
Home Sweet Home, where out thou?

Can't Get Enough

Today we visited Lili and to our surprise, Kyle asked if he could hold her. No idea where that came from, he just put his arms up to Amanda and was ready to officially greet his new cousin. He was so good with her, she cried, and he didn't even flinch. Even after he asked several times, it was the cutest thing. No jealousy, no tantrums, just pure love....thats my boy!

Welcome Liliana
